RISD: A Conversation with Activist Artists

ZOOM — April 27 @ 7pm ET

Join us for a Zoom panel discussion called “A Conversation with Activist Artists” led by Rhode Island School of Design President Crystal Williams featuring Tracie Ching (multidisciplinary artist and founder of We Create), Shepard Fairey (Rhode Island School of Design alum and Trustee; founder of Obey Giant), Dread Scott (longtime activist and School of the Art Institute of Chicago alum), and Yana Buhrer Tavanier (creative activist and co-founder of Fine Acts).

Monday, April 27, 7–8:30 pm EDT. Free and open to the public

For over a decade Tracie Ching has had the privilege of sharing the many facets of art and illustration with an array of audiences – from local elementary schools to design conferences like Adobe Max. Forging genuine connections with people through public speaking continues to be an unexpected honor of her career.
